Fearghal O'Nuallain, Dr Sean McGuinness and Temujin Doran drove a new model Land Rover Discovery from the port of Aqaba to Zaatari refugee camp near the Syrian border investigating water issues en route.     This unit of work raises aspirations by inspiring students to plan their own expedition. It marries team work, mapping, accounting and research skills tasking students to produce a pitch for an expedition.

    In this decision making exercise students combine mapping & accounting skills and build knowledge of agriculture and sustainability to advise a farmer on his investment.

    This resource uses climate data to explore one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world tasking students to work as a location scout.

    This resource explores the Dead Sea. Students consider the factors leading to its evaporation and evaluate the viability of the Red Sea to Dead Sea project.
