BRINGING ADVENTURE INTO THE CLASSROOM
The Water Diaries chronicles the Adventures of Geography Teacher Fearghal O'Nuallain as he journeys the globe learning about water issues and creating educational resources. For this journey he's teamed up with Field Scientist Shane McGuinness and FilmMaker Temujin Doran to cross Jordan in a modified New Model Land Rover Discovery investigating water issues and broadcasting lessons to classrooms in the UK and beyond.
The journey is supported by the Land Rover Bursary from the Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) in London.
Go to the LIVE! page to follow the team's progress in real time on the LIVE MAP as they cross deserts and follow Wadis and FIELD NOTES for up dates and musings. Resources for teachers will be added to the RESOURCES page during and after the expedition. If you'd like to learn about previous journeys in The Water Dairies series go to JOURNEYS. If you're a journalist, you guessed it, the PRESS page is for you.
